Kei Mamiya serves as the Associate Director of the Holmes Cultural Diversity Center and provides leadership for the center and its operations. Kei was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan and came to the U.S. to pursue a MA degree in Sociology at the University of Mississippi. After his graduation, Kei has moved to Starkville and started working in HCDC. Through his previous roles as the Program Coordinator and Assistant Director, he has organized various programs and initiatives to promote diversity, inclusion, and equity on campus and support and advocate for historically marginalized students to achieve academic and professional success at the university and beyond. Asides from his work, Kei is currently in the Ph.D. program of Public Policy and Administration.
